and now…here comes my honey (with his book!) to sit right close to me!

:: the girls needed to hang out for a bit with all of the makeups at target today…
but since i don’t really understand all that stuff…i found myself wandering off…passing through “maternity” and then meandering a little all through the baby section…

that littlest little person falling asleep on me…
he fell asleep on me!
something he might have done…maybe…when he was a very tiny, very sad, very colicky little baby…
maybe…
but my memory doesn’t think so…
and then he stayed asleep while i lugged him into our room…and snuggled down with him into that cozy bed his daddy made for me…
and i got to listen to his heavy breaths…and feel his little chest rise and fall against mine…and watch gramma’s tree dance and sway outside of our window as the blustery wind swept through her…
and kiss his sweaty little sleepy head…
and thank Him from the very farthest bottom-most-tip of my heart for that never-before and…maybe…never-again moment with him…

:: my honey just returned from “hunting and gathering”…and most of these littles are bumping into each other in the kitchen trying to put all the things away…
and that little william just held a chocolate bar up high and declared, “mom, this must be for you!”
and i’m just so wondering why my children always just assume these things!!!

for as long as i can remember…i’ve written like this…
and for as long as he can…he’s written like…
…this!
he’s ruled lines to my open, empty space…permanent pen to my always-opportunity-to-erase-if-need-be pencil…all CAPITALS to my (almost always) complete absence of!
a perfect illustration of our very personalities!
my opposite in most every way!
they most definitely do attract…
and i thank Him for that every day!
even…and especially…on these mondays!

we get to share another new little someone!
i mean…just imagine that…
and wasn’t that just so…always…like Him?
when i went to press “publish” on that little post the other day…
and realized that my 9th monday’s reason to smile…
was about our 9th newest little someone!?!
hasn’t He just always been that kind of amazing?
His timing…even in the things seemingly so insignificant…is always…just so absolutely amazing like that!
yes…that’s just always been just so like Him…
His planting me right in front of you…His setting us on and leading us all along this sometimes-straight-but-more-times-than-not-twisty-turny path…His filling our arms with all these littles all along the way!
all…and every last little bit of it…just in His most amazingly perfect timing!
and, hey…have i ever told you how grateful i am to be sharing this path…and all these littles…with you?
how very grateful i am that they have you for their dad?
well…i am!
and i’m just hoping you’re feeling so very loved by all these littles today…
these mine…and yours!
